Design is Life.
Herein summarizes the vision of Marc Kandalaft, creative director of Marc Kandalaft Design.
More than a vision: a gaze cast on the city, on people, and on our time. Camera swung over his shoulder, he collects outlines, the shapes and curves of bodies, the lines of conflict, the colors of daylight, and the glare of the night.

As for his approach, it is refined, meticulous, always in search of meaning and the unexpected. His lines are highly contemporary, his drawings remain timeless. Timeless… and yet his life is fast-paced, urban, current, and international.

Still, he can just as easily stop short to find the poetry in the shadings and textures of concrete, the tenderness of a moment, the particularity of a situation or to immortalize an extremely sexy woman, as would have done, in his day, photographer Guy Bourdin.

Marc Kandalaft has a good eye, it is undeniable. An eye that is curious, instinctive, sharp and sensual. Nothing can escape him.
